Are the JAC Vapour and DNA Boards the Perfect Vaping Marriage?

When I heard about the Jacvapour Series B DNA75 mod and the fact they were incorporating the legendary DNA75 chip into their latest device I was more than a little excited.

As I’ve mentioned before it was the Jacvapour Series E that finally got me off cigarettes and therefore I have a real soft spot for their products.

So with the company’s brilliant track record for both design and manufacturing and the incorporation of the DNA75 chip I’m expecting big things.

So does it live up to my expectations?

Let’s take a closer look.

Obviously the first place to start is the Escribe software.

EScribe is a software package used to configure, monitor and modify the operation of your DNA 75. It installs on a Windows PC and connects to your DNA 75 using the USB port.

To write about the DNA75 chip would take an absolute age – the settings mean you can fine tune your device to the absolute ‘unth degree and then some. You can check out our overview guide on the DNA chip and DNA mods here.

An important note here is that JAC Vapour says you will need to use the USB cable that’s supplied to manage your settings and firmware upgrades.

However for most of us the SERIES-B DNA 75W is good to go right out of the box and for the purpose of this review that’s how I’m going to use it.

OK.

First up we’re looking at one of the smallest vape mods to use the DNA75 chip and it really is a looker – more on that later.

It’s variable wattage [75watts] and temp control compatible up to 600F.

At just 22mm wide it’s obviously not suitable for larger tanks or atties – so bear that in mind.

Design and Build Quality

Jac Vapour is renowned for excellent build quality and the SERIES-B DNA 75 is no different – it’s beautifully put together.

One little niggle I have though is the fire button – it is feather light.

What I mean by that is you barely have to breathe on it and it fires – clicky it isn’t – this is ultra-smooth.

Now that might be a bad thing for some – all I can say is carrying it around in my pocket meant I did get more than a few fire-ups so make sure when transporting it around you hit x5 clicks in quick succession to lock it.

Design wise this is simply stunning if a little smaller than I imagined from the early photos.

It’s a kind of cross-over.

By that I mean it’s what you get crossing a vape pen style with a box mod if you catch my drift.

If you owned the Series B Tilt mod then you’ll know what I’m getting at.

It’s curvy – slightly boxy but in a good way.

The main covering is that lovely rubberized material whilst the battery compartment door is electroplated and very attractive it looks too.

The magnets are super strong though you do need to jiggle your battery a little to get it in – it’s rather tight in there. So just be careful you don’t damage the wraps on your batteries.

The battery cover is one hell of a fingerprint magnet and I seemed to spend an an inordinate amount of time polishing it.

The screen is just bright enough but personally I think it could be a tad brighter.

Matched up with the black JAC Vapour S-22 tank it looks an absolute dream.

Overall this is a showstopper to both look at and handle but as you can see from the ‘in hand’ photo it’s a lot smaller in real life than you might imagine

Jacvapour Series B DNA75 Quick Start Guide

As usual with all JAC Vapour devices the instruction manual is first class and extremely detailed.

So here’s a few choice snippets from what in reality is an extremely simple mod to use:

• Click fire button x5 times to lock device [wont fire]
• When unlocked hold + & – buttons together for 3 seconds to lock in power – again to unlock
• Hold Fire and minus button for stealth mode [screen off]

Temp Control

• Lock the device clicking fire button x5 times
• Hold + & – buttons for 2 seconds to enter temp control mode
• Scroll through preferred settings
• Once selected preferred setting – unlock and vape

Jacvapour Series B DNA75 Safety Features

The device is powered by a single 18650 battery [not included].

JACvapour says the device can be charged using the USB cable and pass-through vaping is available.

I say this every time but it is always preferable to charge batteries via a separate charger.

Other inbuilt safety features include: short circuit protection – Temp Protection, which means if your temp is too high the device will lower the wattage – OHMS too high or too low means your resistance is incorrect and the device will not fire.

As for battery life I’ve had this for over a week and at a steady 50 watts have managed around 7 to 8 hours before I needed to re-charge.

Obviously the higher the wattage or temp – the faster your battery will drain.

How Does the SERIES-B DNA 75W Perform?

Ramp up is pretty much instant and I tried it on an extremely low build and 1.0ohm MTL coil so there’s no issues at all.

I popped on my trusty Innokin Slipstream tank to test out the temp control and with an empty tank there was no firing and the coil looked clean without any burning.

The screen is reasonably bright and uncluttered with just the right amount of info – resistance – voltage – amps and of course your temp or wattage reading.

Scrolling is fast enough with the up and down button on a shared rocker type switch.

The fire button as I’ve already mentioned is extremely sensitive with the lightest of touches setting it off.

I have used this daily for over a week as both a DTL and MTL device.

At a steady 20watts I managed almost two full days on the one 18650 battery – however at a steady 55watts I just – only just – got a full 8 hours use.

What I Like

There’s no getting away from it this is a beautiful mod to look at – especially paired up with the black JAC S-22 tank.

I’m a big fan of rubberized coatings on mods and this feel great in the hand.

It feels tough too – this is an ideal box mod for work and the outdoors as I reckon it can take some knocks – but like I’ve said it really is a fingerprint magnet.

I can find no fault with operating it in either wattage or temp control – it’s a solid piece of kit.

What I Don’t Like

I find the fire button overly sensitive – however locking it whilst you’re out and about stops it firing if a gnat lands on it.

It’s described as ‘compact’ and it really is and to be honest I feel it maybe a little too small – but that is just my personal taste.

For me the price is hefty – again that’s subjective and you are paying for two big and proven names in the vaping world.

Final Review Verdict

Hard one this.

I can find no faults with the Jacvapour Series B DNA75 operating wise and looks wise it is standout – this screams class and elegance but with an edgy contemporary look.

I just haven’t been blown away by the whole package.

Don’t get me wrong it is a superb piece of kit and I’m not sure why I’m kind of ambivalent about it – could be just my current mood maybe lol.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it – however if push came to shove and I was asked if I would buy it?

My answer would be definitely if it was larger – I know size ain’t everything but for my personal taste it is on the small side.

I also think it’s a little pricey but like I said above you are paying for quality here and the outstanding DNA75 chip.

Saying that there’s no real flaws and I really can’t fault it so maybe it is worth it!

Sorry I can’t be more specific – as you can see it’s a good operator – looks great – feels great it just hasn’t pushed my personal wow button.

I guess given the S-22 tank is a superb workhorse with no fuss or frills – this is the same – it’s faultless and solid.

Maybe I was expecting the wow factor – maybe I should shut up now [been said many times before lol].

Again I have NO hesitation in recommending it – if it was half the price I’d maybe be a little more enthusiastic.

JacVapour V3i Starter Kit Review

Jacvapour have a few core e cigarette kits available which include the previously reviewed Series S, Series B Tilt, Series B DNA75. All offer something different depending on how customisable you want your e cigarette to be.

For this review we will be taking a look at the entry level Jacvapour V3i Basic kit. This will be the preferred choice for those brnad new to vaping or want a discreet e-cigarette.

The kit, like many others, comes in a nice presentation box with all the instructions including a quick start guide and step by step instructions on how to use the kit.

How Does The V3i E Cig Perform?

The battery is one of the main components, with a poor battery life the whole e cigarette will fail.

I received 2 batteries in my Jacvapour starter kit, both the black rubberised V3i automatic batteries. One measuring 55mm and the other slightly longer at 65mm. Again, great look and feel to the batteries with the soft touch coating great in the hand.

They are a good size as well for those wanting to keep their electronic cigarette as near to the real thing as possible.

With everything looking great I was pretty relieved when it came to taking a drag, the draw was smooth and I didn’t need to take any ‘primer drags’ to get it producing a good vapour.

If the battery was not up to scratch I would have been gutted but it’s spot on.

The life, as with all ‘cig-a-like’ batteries isn’t going to be the best but for what it is works fine. I was managing a few hours of moderate vaping.

One thing I will say is, if budget allows be sure to get a kit with two V3i batteries or purchase an extra one on the product page. It is good practice to have batteries in rotation. You can then add further batteries that Jacvapour sell separately.

Vapour / Flavour

Another very important part in the overall product is the flavour and the vapour that the cartomisers produce.

I was supplied with a pack of their tobacco flavoured carts.

Now for me these are stronger than my normal nicotine strength, I normally use a low 6mg or medium 12mg strength.

They do have also have an 18mg available.

The flavour of all e liquids is dependent on each individual but for me the tobacco flavour was good, not too far off the real thing. The vapour volume was very good as well producing a good amount that was up there with V2 Cigs

One area where the Jacvapour cartridges stand out above the other e cigs reviewed however, is that they are refillable, this is a great feature as you can reduce your costs further by buying e liquid rather than just disposing of your carts once they run out.

E-Liquid is available on their website (check some of the Jacvapour e-liquid reviews out here) in both PG (Propylene Glycol), VG (Vegetable Glycol) form and a mix of the two.

The difference is not only in the ingredients, PG e-liquid is the standard liquid that you will find in the majority of the big brands out there. It produces a bigger throat hit, a touch more flavour and slightly less vapour but can last longer.

VG is an alternative to the PG and produces more vapour, but less throat hit. It’s a good alternative for those that may have allergies to PG.

These again give you an added option to suit your needs.

Recently Jacvapour have released their UK made range of e-liquids which are fantastic. I have a number of favourites from this range but the Real Tobacco Lite along with Banana Milkshake and Toffee are some of my personal picks.

The only real negative there is regarding the cartomisers is that the pre-filled flavours available to buy immediately with the kit are limited to Tobacco and Menthol. Although it has to be said that’s where 95% of users switching from smoking will start.

There are however loads of other pre-filled cartomiser flavours and e-liquids available to buy separately.

PicNic: How to Mix Your Own E-Liquids Easily and Cheaply With Jacvapour

Not only does Jacvapour create some of the best e-cig devices on the market they also sell a variety of e-liquids including the Jacvapour Picnic e-liquid ‘shake ‘n vape’ range.

The onset of the TPD has seen the rise in the home brewing and DIY e-liquid mixing scene – and the shake ‘n vape method is obviously the simplest way to go for complete newbies such as myself.

There’s no measuring to be done you simply choose the flavour – nicotine strength – base mix PG and VG ratio and mix it all up in the supplied bottle.

For the fruit flavours I used my trusty old Doge III RDA with fresh wicks – and for the tobacco flavour I popped it into my Aspire Nautilus 2 on the Innokin Pebble.

How to Mix the Picnic Kit

You can vape straight away – though as you’ll see later on each of the flavour reviews – steeping it for a few days will improve the flavour somewhat.

OK let’s take a look at the three flavours I received.

Jacvapour Picnic – Real Tobacco Silver

JAC Vapour says:

We dialled back the smoky intensity for this one. A smoother, yet still realistic tobacco flavour which has been steeped with real tobacco leaves for that added authenticity.

I say:

I have to say the first few days of vaping on this wasn’t that good – HOWEVER.

After 5 days the flavour suddenly pinged and I mean pinged!

I got that dark deep tobacco flavour with a hint of sweetness that is very moreish.

Just the right throat hit and a surprising amount of vapour for an MTL vape.

Very nice indeed.

Jacvapour Picnic – Kitten’s Breath

JAC Vapour says:

Liquid Zwo has joined the picNIC. There’s nothing sweeter than a kitten’s breath. Creamy, sweet and without the claws.

I say:

Not a lot to go on with the description but the smell from the concentrate was simply stunning and I was expecting big things from this one.

One the inhale comes a sharp citrus tropical fruit taste that is just sweet enough and I have to say very tasty indeed.

However, on the exhale comes the merest hint of cream that brings the whole vape together in a delightful way.

Think a fresh tropical smoothie and you’ll get the idea – very very nice indeed – and trust me its day 6 since I mixed this up and it’s getting better by the day!

Jacvapour Picnic – Fruits of the Forest

JAC Vapour says:

If you go down to the woods today, don’t forget this fruity treat. Packed with juicy berry flavour, it’s a JAC favourite.

I say:

Another mix that took a few days of steeping to really punch me in the gob with that juicy berry taste I enjoy.

However it’s not the biggest smack in the taste-buds I’ve had with a dark berry juice – it’s nice don’t get me wrong and extremely refreshing.

I just think the flavour is a little shall we say washed out and could do with a week or more of steeping – still highly vapeable though!

Final Verdict

I use a shake ‘n vape from my local shop – though the guys in there mix it up for me – they’re good to old folk like that lol.

The Jacvapour Picnic range has impressed me to say the least.

Simple to use and the ones I’ve tried are very tasty and give excellent vapour production – what’s not to like!

Well – the amount of rubbish you have to throw away to mix 50mls of e-liquid is alarming.

This is not JAC Vapour’s fault in the slightest – you can blame the EU and the TPD for the limit of 10ml bottles.

X5 plastic bottles and tops – all the boxes – instruction and warning leaflets makes for a pile that has to be disposed of – or preferably re-cycled.

Though there is some debate if any plastic bottles that once contained nicotine can be re-cycled but I digress.

Like I said it’s not JAC Vapour’s fault – just another thing the meddling EU busybodies failed to take on board.

Anyway rant over lol.

Would I recommend the Jacvapour Picnic range – yes I would in fact I’d highly recommend it as a brilliantly easy and cost effective way to mix your own.

Bryn’s Special Sauce – High VG Flavours For Sub Ohm Vapers

For the review I used my trusty old Doge III RDA and the OBS Crius RDTA – both freshly wicked every time.

Bryn’s Special Sauce – Sour Blue Sorbet

Jacvapour Says:

A true, sour vape has been the El Dorado of juice makers for years, but Bryn has truly cracked it. A genuine sour vapour, with lashings of blue raspberry and just a touch of cool menthol to help cleanse the palate. Simple, but incredibly well executed.

I Say:

I do like sharp sour citrus tasting juices and I am on record as saying ‘I don’t do menthol’ e-liquids so to be honest I wasn’t really looking forward to this one.

However.

This is one of the cleanest – crispest and downright delicious juices I’ve had the pleasure to try.

On the inhale comes the sourest and I mean sourest taste that sets your teeth on edge but within a split second its calmed by wave after wave of sharp yet sweet and juicy blue raspberry.

And trust me the exhale of that tingly fresh mint really does cleanse the palate – leaving your mouth clean and fresh and creating wonderfully aromatic dense clouds – an all-day vape for sure!

Bryn’s Special Sauce – Papricot Custard

Jacvapour Says:

Even a man’s man like Bryn needs a little comforting from time to time. Where does he turn? His patented Papricot Custard juice of course. Warm, soft peach, combined with fruity crushed apricot and finished off with a touch of rich vanilla custard. With just a hint of assorted dried fruits, including grape, plum and apple.

I Say:

One of my all-time favourite e-liquids is peach based however as a child I absolutely hated apricots lol so again I wasn’t going into this with much hope that I’d like it!

But once again this guy Bryn has created a masterpiece – this is nothing short of divine.

The inhale gives you a right juicy whack in the gob from the slightly sharp apricot before the sweetness of the peach takes the sharpness away giving a really refreshing fruity vape.

However.

It’s on the exhale the magic happens as layer after layer of more fruit flavours than you can shake a stick at pile in before the creamiest custard combines leaving your taste buds almost orgasmic.

Yeah I did say orgasmic.

This is truly the nectar of the Gods and has shot into my top 5 of all time vapes – absolutely wondrous and one fruit – custard and dessert vapers will adore.

Wow!

Bryn’s Special Sauce – TE’

Jacvapour Says:

Fresh and candied citrus fruits, and rangpur are blended with notes of Jasmine, Darjeeling and Assam and balanced out with just a hint of menthol for a light, tantalizing vape.

I Say:

Those of you – like me – who are not that keen on menthol vapes relax – because the key word here is ‘hint’.

There’s the merest hit of ice that’s more coolada than menthol and it really does ping the rest of the flavours off your palate.

Hand on heart this is probably the most refreshing e-liquid I have ever tried – a complex mix of various citrus and sweet fruits washed in a variety of refreshing teas bombard your taste buds with layer after layer of deliciousness.

Hey I’m English so putting anything with tea in front of me is bound to be to my taste right!

I’ve had this 30ml box for less than a week and it’s gone – absolutely gorgeous.

Final Verdict

This guy is a magician!

These three e-liquid flavours have surprized me given I really didn’t hold out much hope liking them – given one – I’m a fussy old sod and two – custard and menthol are not high on my list of favourite flavours.

But Bryn has weaved his magical mixology skills and created three flavours that for me are right up there with some of the best e-liquids I’ve ever tasted.

Deep and rich with layer after layer of flavour held together perfectly – trust me you find a new note every time you vape!

And I tell you what those never mind clouds for days – we’re talking weeks such is their sweet smelling density!

Series S22 Kit Key Features

This is a simple charge it up – fill it up – hit the fire button and vape set-up that is refreshingly easy to use so perfect for an absolute beginner to vaping.

The huge 2600mah battery means that once this is charged you’ll get at least a day and a half’s vaping out of it – at least that’s what I got!

It’s also capable of pass through vaping [using it when charging] and for once the enclosed USB cable is long enough to reach my desktop pc which is on the floor.

Charge time is fast too with it averaging from totally flat to fully charged in just over two and a half hours.

The device itself takes the hassle out of vaping with no screen or settings to worry about or as JACVapour puts it ‘stripped of all the distractions’.

There’s a whole raft of safety features packed into the chip with: Overcharge protection – Short circuit protection – Battery vents and High amp draw protection.

OK so there’s no bells and whistles as such, instead what you’ve got is an easy to operate solid performer that will last you a long time between charges – perfect.

The S22 Tank Features

This is the latest version of the superb S22 tank – read my full review on the original Jacvapour S22 tank here which goes into far more detail.

However the slight difference with this new version is it’s a top fill and there are much bigger windows to see your juice level – the previous version had narrow slits which meant viewing your e-liquid levels was tricky.

Simply screw off the top cap [mouthpiece] and drizzle your e-liquid down the side avoiding the central chimney – leave for 10 minutes to soak into the cotton and you’re good to go.

The tank has a 2ml capacity and using the coil that comes with the kit is plenty as with MTL vaping you tend to use far far less e-liquid.

For the record the tank can be used for sub-ohm vaping but you will need to purchase those coils separately – look for the 1.0om and 0.5Ohm DL S22 coils on the website.

I’m not alone in absolutely loving this no frills tank – it’s a little belter with good flavour – decent clouds and an airflow control ring to help set it up to your personal preference.

Apart from the top fill the only other addition to the latest version is the JAC Vapour logo on the tank and speaking of design let’s look at that now.

Design and Build Quality

JAC Vapour is a UK company based up in Scotland and trust me when I say pretty much all the kit these guys produce are well built and of the highest quality – their Bryn’s Special Sauce e-liquid is highly recommended too!

The Jacvapour Series S22 kit is no exception – it is a sublime kit to both hold in your hand and vape on.

It’s very similar in looks and indeed feel to the SERIES-B DNA 75W – but considerably cheaper lol – another device of theirs I adored.

The steel alloy body is coated with a wonderful rubber oil finish that is so pleasing to touch its untrue.

The button is delightfully clicky with a lovely throw to it – giving an extremely satisfying sound which might sound a bit daft but I love the noise it makes – it shouts quality let’s put it that way.

The battery/mod is refreshingly uncluttered on the outside too with no distractions or gaudy in your face logos – apart that is from a delightful little raised logo near the bottom of the mod and the tastefully etched company branding on the side.

BTW the little logo on the base is also a charge indicator and lights up red when charging and blue when fully charged – nice touch.

As I mentioned above the new version of the S22 tank now includes the JAC Vapour ‘J’ etched onto the side which in all honesty is maybe a little too big but still looks OK.

So build and design wise this is yet another well-built and extremely classy vape device proving once again that less is more.

The kit is available in the all black version I received or a very funky green.

How Does the Jacvapour Series S22 Kit Perform?

For the purpose of this review I only used what came with the kit so only as a true beginners set-up – straight out of the box using the supplied 1.0ohm MTL coil.

OK once I’d charged the device fully – primed the coil and filled it up with a 12mg nicotine 50-50 PG/VG e-liquid [Decadent Vapors Amber Blend] I pretty much already knew what to expect!

And yes the S22 tank still delivers great flavour – very good clouds and with my 12mg nic a wonderful throat hit.

I actually quite like an airy MTL vape so with the airflow closed ever so slightly I get the perfect vape for me.

Those of you looking for a tighter draw – as you got from a cigarette – can turn the airflow to as closed as you like and you’ll notice the vape gets a little warmer and taste slightly better.

The device itself is simply put – wonderful to vape on.

It’s light and feels great on the hand and that button is wonderful with instant ramp up time.

I’m quite a heavy MTL vaper in the mornings but even taking that into consideration a full tank lasted me into the late afternoon so it’s by no means a drinker.

However bear in mind if you do use a DTL coil the juice will empty quicker!

And as I’ve already mentioned fully charged up I got a good day and a half vaping before it needed re-charging – less frequent vapers may get considerably more use out of it – I’m just a bit of a chain vaper early doors!

So performance wise this is up there with the best MTL devices and starter kits I’ve used – a wonderful piece of kit.

What I Like

The device is a crossover between a pen style and a box mod but veering more towards the vape pen style.

Its light – feels great in the hand and really does look classy with low profile branding only adding to its high end look at an affordable price.

It fits nicely in your pocket or bag and given the rubberized coating it will take some knocks so ideal for work – the car and out and about.

Operating it is refreshingly simple – this is a real plug ‘n vape kit making it absolutely perfect for newcomers to vaping however regular MTL vapers will love it too.

The improvements to the tank are great too – as I said in my review the previous version had a couple of niggles such as the e-liquid window and the fact it was bottom fill and these have both been addressed.

What I Don’t Like

I’m a little surprised there’s only one coil added to the kit – the 1.0ohm MTL.

Not sure why JAC has skimped on this as most kits – especially starter kits – out there come with at least 2 coils.

The S-22 coils are reasonably priced but even so as this is predominantly a starter kit some newbies can make mistakes so a spare would have been good!

So I really do suggest buying a spare packet of coils when purchasing this-

NOTE: 1.0hm MTL is similar to the experience of smoking a cigarette and the 1.0ohm and 0.5ohm DTL coils are more for sub ohm direct to lung vaping – so double check your shopping cart.

BTW if you already own an S22 tank and want to switch it to top fill you can buy the top for about half the price of the whole tank

Final Review Verdict

Newcomers to vaping really are spoiled for choice these days!

Given the naff stuff we had back in my day [lol] a device like this would have been a God send – it vapes like an absolutely dream.

It’s so simple to use its untrue and the top fill and the larger juice windows are a great improvement on the original.

If you’re a newcomer or more established MTL vaper then I highly recommend this kit – great job JAC. It’s safe to say I would definitely buy the Jacvapour Series S22 kit if I lost or broke the device!

The Series-B DNA 75 Sandstorm by JACVapour Previewed

Upgrade In Size and Finish But How Does the Series B DNA75 25mm Vape?

JacVapour had a real hit on their hands with the previous Series B DNA75 however it’s fair to say the one tiny flaw was the size – fitting atties of 22mm only – unless you liked huge overhangs!

So the release of the larger 25mm Series B DNA75 and the addition of a new ‘sandstorm’ finish had my ears pricking up – particularly as the original is a mod I’ve used every single day since I first received it – with the wear and tear to prove it!

The new version comes with the usual bunch of options on the website – I received the mod plus an 18650 battery and 30mls of Bryn’s Special Sauce eliquid [lovely stuff!] – both of which come as standard – but please check the site!

Key Features

Obviously key here is the DNA chip which the vast majority of vapers say is the best on the market.

OK the predecessor to this latest release – the JACvapour Series B DNA75 came out at just 22mm which made it the smallest DNA device on the market at the time.

I did mention the size in my review of that one which meant only the smallest vape tanks, RDAs and RTAs could fit on top without any overhang.

So apart from the extra few mm and the new ‘sandstorm’ finish – there’s really not a lot more going on – so a shorter review than usual!

One other issue I had with the previous version was the battery door and in particular the magnets.

I have used the original every single day since it arrived – look at the scratches!

However within a couple of months the magnets had fallen off – they were easy enough to pop back in with a bit of super-glue – but still a bit of a niggle – especially as I now have a pronounced rattle – so I was very pleased to get this upgrade to review!

The new version has exactly the same battery compartment and door though it might just be the newness [I’ve had this one close to a month] but they do feel housed better and maybe even a little stronger.

The other new bit is the finish – marketed as ‘sandstorm’ it’s a clever word for ‘brushed’ and whilst the original had a rubberized body – the 25mm is metal has a nice feel to it and certainly not slippery.

Jacvapour describes the body as being made out of ‘premium quality materials’ over the ‘black rubber oil finish’ – it doesn’t feel rubbery at all but certainly not slippery.

Design and Build Quality

As I’ve mentioned above not a lot has changed with the shape and build of the original – it’s well manufactured and maybe a touch lighter.

The fire button and up and down bar [which is on a rocker switch] are black and plastic making a nice contrast on the stainless steel version I received.

I say it every time I review a JacVapour product but you really can’t fault the build or indeed the design – they make high quality and very nice looking stuff!

Design wise it’s a cross between a box mod and vape pen style and given the extra width there’s a kind of foot outlining the battery on the base that makes it a lot more stable when standing up than the former version!

If I’m honest this sandstorm finish wouldn’t be my go to colour – I really liked the rubberized body and the contrasting battery door on it’s baby brother – however it really has begun to grow on me – listen I tend to go for black mods so purely a subjective thing.

Incidentally I did try swapping the doors but couldn’t make them fit

Jacvapour say this is aimed at the ‘executive’ end of the market – so sitting here barefoot in lounge pants and hoodie hardly makes me the target market lol.

So a good looking well-made mod – so how does it vape?

How Does the Jacvapour Series B DNA75 25mm Mod Perform?

OK like all DNA devices you can spend as long as you like fiddling with the settings – however it’s good to go straight out of the box in both temp and power mode.

Speaking of temp mod I popped a simple micro coil stainless steel build into my DigiFlavour Drop RDA and pulsed whilst the cotton was pretty dry.

As this is a DNA chip I expected the temp control to work perfectly which it did indeed – leaving only the slightest darker banding.

The original DNA 75w had a feather touch fire button – drove me nuts lol – however this one thankfully takes a bit of pressure to fire.

OK and once again as you’d expect from the onboard DNA chip performance wise this is sublime.

New users of any DNA may find the need to turn down the power a little to what they normally vape at because this is a true reading!

In other words I had my GeekVape Zeus RTA set at 53.7w on my go to mod the Livepor 160 and had to crank it down on the Series B DNA75 as it was just a tad too much for the build in there – trust me the mod I use is generally pretty spot on too!

As I’ve already said we could be here all day talking about the umpteen and then some settings you can fiddle with via the Evolv software – suffice it so say out of the box this performs like a charm.

What I Like

It’s only a couple of mm difference and a couple of design changes but it’s already become my go too MTL mod.

Obviously with the full range of 75w it will take 25mm sub ohm tanks etc easily but given its overall size and the amount of battery life I can get with mouth to lung – that’s how I use it.

Saying that I am now going to have to find a MTL tank that matches the brushed steel – sorry sandstorm finish – wonder if there will be a black version?

Look I don’t go into the Evolv software I’m a KISS kind of vaper – keep it simple stupid – so all the bells and whistles aren’t for me.

But straight outa the box it works perfectly well and this is indeed as solid as a device you’re ever likely to buy.

Vaping purists will love the sheer amount of tinkering they can do – whilst the rest of us have a very nice well performing – good looking mod on their hands.

What I Don’t Like

Not a lot – but I do miss the contrasting door on the version I received – the silver one I received is a little dare I say plain – colour wise that is!

The previous version really did stand out from the crowd with the contrast – but if that’s the only fault I can find then well done JacVapour…again!

Final Review Verdict

The Jacvapour Series B DNA75 25mm is another top quality vape mod and one that comes highly recommended.

The AIO Mod By JacVapour Previewed

Oooh a really early look at a new mod – the JacVapour AIO mod!

This hasn’t been released yet and all I have seen so far is a teaser on social media!

Being a fan of AIO (All In One) mods this has caught my eye.

JacVapour have an excellent reputation and all the mods we have reviewed here at Ecigclick have performed wonderfully. For instance the JacVapour Series B DNA75 Sandstorm and the Series S22 kit prove this is a brand who make quality devices.

The guy who created JacVapour is an ex-smoker who is an E-cigarette enthusiast and started putting together his own packages for sale on the site.

So what can I tell you about the new AIO?

Well it will be a mini box mod style AIO with apparently a fantastic battery life and performance.

The coil head is usually within the body of the mod and the sneak preview images show a cut out for the tank viewing window which will be located inside the mod.

This makes the mod more compact as you only have the mouthpiece protruding from the body rather than a whole tank like you get on a box mod.

There also appears to be a fire button towards the bottom of the device so I don’t think this is an automatic fire mod.

JacVapour also say this will be at an affordable price.

AIO mods are usually incredibly easy to use, rarely leak as the tank is part of the mod and designed with simplicity in mind. Ideal for new vapers or those who just want a fuss free mod or second device.

The Past Present And Future Plans For Jac Vapour Told By The Man Who Founded The Company

Scottish based JAC Vapour is one of the UK’s vaping success stories and from small beginnings have now became a world leader in the vape industry.

Founded in 2010 by Andrew Logan the company’s byword is without doubt ‘quality’.

Indeed I was able to quit smoking thanks to one of JAC’s early devices the Series E and since then I’ve been fortunate enough to use and review many of their products and e-liquids.

One thing is for sure JAC Vapour’s vape devices are extremely well built – wonderfully designed and extremely reliable backed by a customer services department that is second to none.

Their recent foray into using the DNA75 chip has been a massive success with both the original and the latest Series B Sandstorm version getting great reviews on vape scene including from me.

The good news is they are planning to continue using the chip – especially the new Replay feature and new devices are currently on the drawing board – including their first dual 18650 high powered mod!

OK so let’s find out more and how being thrown out of a bar for smoking led to the creation of one of the most iconic vape brands in the world.

Who founded Jacvapour and when?

I founded JAC Vapour (Andrew Logan) in 2010, I’d been on honeymoon and was thrown out of a bar for smoking after seeing, what I thought was, a smoker inside the bar. They turned out to be an e-cig user.

On my return to the UK I started to research them, a lot; I discovered there were good products out there that were hard to get a hold of, and even harder to understand. I setup JAC Vapour more as a reason to get a good supply of the best gear available, to help me quit smoking, than to actually make money. It soon grew into a fully-fledged business due to demand.

What background had the founder/s come from and why vape design?

I trained as an engineer but was working in property development at the time I started JAC Vapour. I love good products that improve or make your life easier, and technology provides many opportunities for that. If there’s something I want to improve in my life, it can nearly always be done with today’s tech, need a haircut.. technology can do that…need to give up smoking… tech can do that also.

From the moment I started JAC, I wanted to have complete control over the product we sold. While other companies focused on growing their off-line retail distribution channels I focused on putting together a team that could build high quality and reliable products.
We are the only independent UK company that completely designs its own mainstream products and with that comes greater confidence in our products.

We know every part of them, and we utilise good design to make better products at reasonable prices. That’s why we can give industry leading warranties, we don’t have to worry about how another company has built the device, because we completely control how it’s built and therefore know no corners have been cut.

We do not make the cheapest devices, but I am confident quality wise to cost we are at the very top of the tree whether you buy a £20 device from us or an £80 one.

What was the first device the company designed?

The first design product we designed was the SERIES-E. In order to get it made we shared the designs with a Chinese manufacturer, they produced their version and we produced ours, we worked within certain limits at that time and didn’t have complete control. The first one we designed from the ground up was the SERIES-B Tilt, and it still holds its own today, we’ll be doing an update of it very soon.

Where was it manufactured?

All our design is done in the UK, and we source parts and material from China and the USA, and most of the time this all goes to an assembly line in China. We have a partnership with a company that we have built over the years, through investment and time, and they are able to meet our standards. We also employ people directly within our partner’s business.

Sometimes if we can, and cost allows (we have to remain competitive in the market) we manufacture at least a part of a product in the UK.

It’s really a balance of cost, efficiency and the desired outcome or price we are trying to achieve.

In the case of the Tilt, we sourced the board and most of the parts in China, but moulds were manufactured in the UK and shipped to China to make sure we had the desired outcome. All the components along with packaging were then put together on the assembly line in China, it was an expensive way of doing our first device, but we were still able to produce a cost effective RRP from it.

It also allowed us to have the confidence to put a 1 year UK warranty on the device, something pretty much nobody did at the time, and still doesn’t. The fail rate on the Tilt is miniscule and the build quality rivalled units double the price, I still love it.

How was it received and was it a hit?

The Tilt design did have a sort of marmite effect, people either loved it or hated it, and a lot of people misinterpreted why we did it. Most thought it was about putting the tank closer to the user, which it wasn’t really, putting the tank a couple of mm closer to the user was a side effect of designing the smallest replaceable 18650 available.

We’d made a tiny device and wanted it to be even smaller, if you look inside or even just pick up the Tilt you can feel there is very little dead space, so the only thing we could do to make it smaller was add the Tilt, so we did it. We trialed both the flat version and the Tilted version with a focus group and 90% picked the Tilted version, it just felt and looked better. It was a bit different without being whacky, and it was well proportioned.

It was hard to convey in pictures though. I still think people that hated the Tilt never actually picked one up and held it, as soon as you did that it made sense, and I had a problem with flat mods for a while after using it. It is still one of our top sellers and is coming up for 3 years old, and it was very highly reviewed.

Luckily there were enough people who understood our point of view and wanted something a little bit different, which made it a big success. If you look at it, it’s still one of the smallest replaceable 18650 devices on the market, most manufacturers can’t even make a built-in battery device that compact.

Tell us a little bit about the design process – who does it involve and how long from idea to prototype/production?

Once you have an idea for a project, this can come from any part of the business (customer feedback, where the market is evolving, what we think the market needs), we brainstorm initial ideas to see if we can firm up a route to take for it, from there the products team and designers create concepts sketches and also start to look for routes to sourcing whatever we need, be it materials or electronics.

This stage can involve lots of scribbling/sketching/shouting , anything pretty much goes to get your idea across, and reams of paper and lots and lots and lots of phone calls.

Once we are pretty sure it can be done the way we’d like, we make a few final concepts sketches and take them to our management and finance team. If the project gets a green light the engineering team then take the concept sketches and start creating a full working design using CAD software. At this stage you are pretty much in constant contact with suppliers to make sure your design is going to work with their tolerances etc. We also use 3d printing at this stage to produce parts and check ergonomics etc. or we may build a basic device that contains the basic electronic function.

After the design is created we then assess fully what we’ve come up with, and what the product will be, if all is good then we will then create manufacturing designs, this involves adding lots of boring information required for mass production of a product, things like draft angles for moulds etc.

Once that is complete, we’ll build a full working prototype and assess.

After the prototype is complete we will also have a pretty firm idea of production cost. We’ll then make up to 4 more porotypes, if required, in order to fix or adjust things, and we’ll make variations of parts for finishing or different materials to confirm everything can be achieved and look/ perform the way we want it to.

Once prototyping is complete and we’re happy with the final design, we start to create mass production part moulds, and prepare for the pre-production batch, this a small production run we make up. The production run is then tested and the engineering team get feedback on any improvements that can be made or issues that have arisen, the best way we have found to do this is let groups of users (normally on the forums) try the product and let us know what they think, this brings to light any issues we have that can be fixed prior to going to full production. We then make final adjustments if needed and full production begins.

Designing A Vape Device Is A Long Process!

It’s probably a lot longer process than most other e-cig companies, but quicker than most other industries. It makes sure we don’t release half ready devices, and we’re confident in the device. We just couldn’t afford to release something we are not 100% happy with, we can’t take a ‘play the numbers and hope something hits’ approach like some Chinese manufacturers or launch a device with a myriad of issues.

The whole process takes about 9 months, and currently we are running 10 main projects with another 7 or so side projects. Our industry moves incredibly quickly, so designs can become irrelevant with market changes or trends, or just too expensive compared to competitor products or market fluctuation in material costs etc, so projects can get dropped, re-directed or put on hold until we are sure of a way forward them.

What is the most popular device you’ve ever made?

The SERIES-S17, although the SERIES-S22 now outsells it

I began proper vaping on the Series E sadly that is no longer in production any reason why?

The tank used on the SERIES-E was 4.8ml, TPD put paid to that, and it was designed back when we knew a lot less, we decided we could make it better and the outcome of that was the SERIES-S17 and then also the SERIES-S22.

We were one of the first companies to make a device that a new user could start on MTL, and then move to DL, and do both effectively. Now lots of devices do it, but I still think SERIES-S22 does it better than anything else on the market, and the new coils will make it an exceptional MTL device, easily better than anything else in its category.

So the SERIES-S17 and SERIES-S22 are better in every respect, they are better built, nicer looking (IMO), more powerful, more flexible etc.. they are just better devices all around and cheaper to boot. The only thing the SERIES-S range lacked was the variable voltage, but that’s compensated for by the coil options, we’re just about to add another 0.45 ohm SS MTL coil and a 0.7 ohm SS MTL coil that take performance to a whole new level. You just couldn’t have had that performance on the SERIES-E.

The introduction of the S range basically made the E obsolete, if somebody really did want VV then they would be cheaper and better going for the Tilt with the S22 tank, the SERIES-E just didn’t fit anymore, but we still support it and sell spare parts as we know it was a popular device.

When did you begin brewing your own e-liquids and why?

Again, this was down to control of quality and wanting to do something different from every other company, when we started we tweaked Chinese liquid to make it what we wanted. I eventually decided to move production to the UK though, so we could get complete control over the product and start fully developing our own stuff.

Right from the start we tested all our stuff in the UK anyway, and it became increasingly hard to get what we wanted done in China, so it was a relatively simple decision to move production to the UK for us. It just made development easier and the resulting products far better.

TPD didn’t really affect our liquid as from the point we started producing in the UK we were everything and more anyway, we had to change some names, and bottle sizes but it was minor really.

Originally, I developed flavours in early 2013, and we developed Clear Steam at the end of that year, and picNIC (which could be credited as the first shortfill) in early 2014. By the time we did picNIC we had employed our own team for flavour development and they are far better than I ever was.

The team is now headed up by Bryn and he’s taken it to a whole new level and done things I just would never have thought of – like Bryns Special Sauce, and he’s got this insanely realistic tobacco nic salt range which will hit the shelves end of April.

Are your e-liquids produced in house?

Our recipes are, and all the initial draft of the flavours, we then take it to a commercial flavouring company to recreate and mass produce, and then onto a bottling line. It depends on the product, we are a stickler for the quality and when we moved production to the UK, a lot of specialist e-liquid companies did not have the standards we were looking for. We have never produced anything outside of an ISO standard lab and that used to be harder to find.

Shortfills are a bit of an issue at the moment what are your thoughts on them?

Short fills are only an issue because of TPD, TPD created the issue, as the fact is, users want bigger bottles, so the industry found a way to provide it through a loop hole. That loop hole unfortunately means vendors can circumnavigate any legislation regarding testing, there could literally be anything in a shortfill, and that’s the problem.

Some companies have shown in the past they have a disregard for user safety and will mislead customers in regards to the content of liquid. This shouldn’t be allowed to happen, but at the same time you cannot legislate on flavourings? It’s just not practical.

The only way to fix the mess is to do away with the pre-mixed restrictions on bottle sizes. I also think there should be some voluntary scheme, so reputable vendors can demonstrate their products are safe, a sort of stamp of approval of the ingredients used.

My opinion is shortfills have been made necessary by the TPD, and if the ingredients are good then I have no issue with them being sold, we are doing some ourselves, but they do have the propensity for abuse.

How did you get involved with Bryn for the Sauce range and is he real or a marketing ploy ?

Bryn is real, name pronounced like ‘Brin’, like bin with a Br, it’s Welsh, but he’s not Welsh and he’s not Brian : ) He was a law student that worked in one of our retail shops, and made e-liquid for friends and family where he had carved out quite a following.

When we tried some of his e-liquids, we decided to offer him a job before we lost him to law. A few years on he’s running the team, he’s very fastidious (probably the law degree) and has an exceptional ability with flavours. If you put a chef’s hat on him he actually looks like the logo for BSS, he refused to go around in the outfit for launch though… a real shame.

Why did you decide to go with the DNA chip?

We had decided to do a high end TC device, Evolve invented TC and in my opinion they lead the way in board technology, so it was a pretty easy choice to design the device around their board. They also happen to be an incredibly decent group of people, and they are good to do business with. We have another 2, possibly 3, DNA devices in development and hopefully both will make it to market as I think the ‘replay’ feature is a game changer.

I love both devices with the DNA75 – any plans for new DNA devices including the 75c?

Yes there will definitely be a 75c device later this year, maybe 2, and we are also going over the specs for the 250c to see if we can put that in another device we have, I just have to talk our CEO into it, but I think replay makes this an easy choice.

Any plans to produce a higher wattage mod?

Yes, we have a dual 18650 mod in final stages of development, I am using the first prototype as we speak, it’s pretty tiny for what it can do, can’t really say much more than that at present. We also have a 110w 21700 device in development as well.

Good to see you’re backing VApril are you doing anything special for it?

Yes. We think VApril is a great awareness campaign as more smokers need to know the ease and success rates of quitting using vaping only. We have created 6 x VApril specific offers bundles, sold exclusively on-line and they are all under £20 – so, for less than the cost of 2 packets of cigarettes, smokers can try vaping and see if it’s right for them.

What’s next for JacVapour?

Next up is the VIM, it’s a tiny AIO style device that can take pods or a rebuildable VIM tank, but we matched it with a massive 2600 mAh battery. It’s a very flexible system that’s easy to use and very cost effective. We’ve also got its wee brother, known as The WEE VIM, see what we did there, it’s even smaller and so affordable it should hopefully mean that nobody ever has to purchase a crappy ‘ego’ ever again.

We have also got Bryn’s ultra-realistic tobacco nic salt range and we’ll also be adding a nic salt base to picNIC. Also, the Turbo coils for the VIM and S devices have just gone up on our site for Beta testing, they should completely transform MTL performance in small devices, and they are compatible with the all the SERIES-S stuff and the VIM ranges when it arrives. So, plenty happening in the next month or 2.

PicNic: How to Mix Your Own E-Liquids Easily and Cheaply With Jacvapour

Not only does Jacvapour create some of the best e-cig devices on the market they also sell a variety of e-liquids including the Jacvapour Picnic e-liquid ‘shake ‘n vape’ range.

The onset of the TPD has seen the rise in the home brewing and DIY e-liquid mixing scene – and the shake ‘n vape method is obviously the simplest way to go for complete newbies such as myself.

There’s no measuring to be done you simply choose the flavour – nicotine strength – base mix PG and VG ratio and mix it all up in the supplied bottle.

So simple even a bumbling old fool like me can make 50mls of juice with the least taxing of my aged brain.

So it all sounds good – but how does it taste?

I was sent x3 flavours direct from Jacvapour – Kitten’s Breath – Real Tobacco Silver and Fruits of the Forest – there’s currently a total of 46 flavours to choose from.

Due to the TRPR I can’t mention what nicotine level I used so for the sake of argument let’s say it was zero.

OK as always my thoughts and opinions are my own and I guess as a safety warning I should suggest you wear gloves – eye protectors – white coat and face mask when dealing with nicotine [if that is there’s any in the kit you order].

For the fruit flavours I used my trusty old Doge III RDA with fresh wicks – and for the tobacco flavour I popped it into my Aspire Nautilus 2 on the Innokin Pebble.

You can vape straight away – though as you’ll see later on each of the flavour reviews – steeping it for a few days will improve the flavour somewhat.

Jacvapour Picnic – Real Tobacco Silver

I say:

I have to say the first few days of vaping on this wasn’t that good – HOWEVER.

After 5 days the flavour suddenly pinged and I mean pinged!

I got that dark deep tobacco flavour with a hint of sweetness that is very moreish.

Just the right throat hit and a surprising amount of vapour for an MTL vape.

Very nice indeed.

Jacvapour Picnic – Kitten’s Breath

JAC Vapour says:

Liquid Zwo has joined the picNIC. There’s nothing sweeter than a kitten’s breath. Creamy, sweet and without the claws.

I say:

Not a lot to go on with the description but the smell from the concentrate was simply stunning and I was expecting big things from this one.

One the inhale comes a sharp citrus tropical fruit taste that is just sweet enough and I have to say very tasty indeed.

However, on the exhale comes the merest hint of cream that brings the whole vape together in a delightful way.

Think a fresh tropical smoothie and you’ll get the idea – very very nice indeed – and trust me its day 6 since I mixed this up and it’s getting better by the day!

Jacvapour Picnic – Fruits of the Forest

JAC Vapour says:

If you go down to the woods today, don’t forget this fruity treat. Packed with juicy berry flavour, it’s a JAC favourite.

I say:

Another mix that took a few days of steeping to really punch me in the gob with that juicy berry taste I enjoy.

However it’s not the biggest smack in the taste-buds I’ve had with a dark berry juice – it’s nice don’t get me wrong and extremely refreshing.

I just think the flavour is a little shall we say washed out and could do with a week or more of steeping – still highly vapeable though!

Final Verdict

I use a shake ‘n vape from my local shop – though the guys in there mix it up for me – they’re good to old folk like that lol.

The Jacvapour Picnic range has impressed me to say the least.

Simple to use and the ones I’ve tried are very tasty and give excellent vapour production – what’s not to like!

Well – the amount of rubbish you have to throw away to mix 50mls of e-liquid is alarming.

This is not JAC Vapour’s fault in the slightest – you can blame the EU and the TPD for the limit of 10ml bottles.

X5 plastic bottles and tops – all the boxes – instruction and warning leaflets makes for a pile that has to be disposed of – or preferably re-cycled.

Though there is some debate if any plastic bottles that once contained nicotine can be re-cycled but I digress.

Like I said it’s not JAC Vapour’s fault – just another thing the meddling EU busybodies failed to take on board.

Anyway rant over lol.

Would I recommend the Jacvapour Picnic range – yes I would in fact I’d highly recommend it as a brilliantly easy and cost effective way to mix your own.

The VIM By JacVapour Previewed

The new JacVapour VIM is an AIO (All In One Kit) which I did preview a bit a while ago. However the details were soooo sketchy – I thought now it has been released I would write a new preview to tell you all the final details!

The Mod has a 2600mAh battery which is unregulated so outputs between 4.2V at full charge and will cut out when the voltage is below 3.1V.

You have a large fire button on the side of the mod and a viewing window to check the level of the e-liquid in your tank.

The VIM tank has a lot of options! This can be used for the MTL vaping style (more familiar with Ex-smokers) and the DTL vaping style (the Sub Ohm style). We tell you all about vaping styles in our handy guide to DTL and MTL.

JAC Vapour Goes Back To Basics With A New Twist On Old Favourites And A New Nic Salt Range

As the name suggests the JAC Vapour Originals line of e-liquid is from back in 2010 and brought bang up to date with a little bit of tinkering.

These are now 80PG 20VG meaning deeper more intense flavour and a harder hit to the back of the throat making them ideal for new vapers and those of us who still enjoy a good mouth to lung vape. They are available in 6mg, 12mg and 18mg nicotine strengths.

There’s a mix of tobacco and menthol with another dessert based flavour for those with a sweet tooth.

The company has also released two flavours in their new Smoking nic salt based range (available in 12mg and 18mg) and we’ll look at those too.

I’m a huge fan of JAC Vapour devices and e-liquids but as always and despite these being sent to me for the purposes of this review – my thoughts and opinions are my own.

However I bloody loved the harsh rich deep flavour with a real throat hit and JAC has replicated that whole sensation perfectly.

I Say:

I don’t think I’ve ever actually smoked real Turkish tobacco however I have vaped on a popular e-liquid brand and enjoyed it very much.

I found this one a little drier than the previous two and even a little harsher on the throat which new vapers might really enjoy.

It wasn’t an issue for me given I still enjoy that tickle on the tonsils and the exhale does indeed give a hint of a nutty sweetness.

This one has grown on me as I’ve emptied the bottle.

Classic Menthol – 6mg-12mg-18mg – 80PG/20VG

Classic Menthol is packed with cool, menthol flavour that’ll blow the cobwebs away. Refreshingly chilling.

I Say:

I’m not a big fan of menthol vapes – probably due to me making myself sick as a kid smoking a packet of my mom’s Consulates lol.

This is indeed a strong menthol to say the least that whilst not actually making my eyes water did leave my tongue numb.

Sorry not for me but I’m sure regular menthol vapers will adore this one.

Ice Menthol – 6mg-12mg-18mg – 80PG/20VG

I Say:

I wasn’t even going to try this one lol – but in the interest of fun and science I had a toot or two…

If the normal menthol left my tongue numb this one felt as if I’d got it stuck in the freezer.

Even my head got brain freeze!

Yeah I know I’m a bit of a wimp but trust me if you’re looking for an ice storm in your mouth this one is it!

I Say:

I absolutely love Bakewell Tarts and JAC has absolutely nailed this one.

Cherry is one of those flavours that not handled right can come across as a bit of a chemical aftertaste – not so in this case.

The sweet almost jam like cherries are washed with almond/marzipan before a gentle crust arrives creating a truly delicious and extremely moreish exhale.

If you like sweet dessert vapes this one is ideal – though the taste does seem to linger in your mouth for quite some time!

You’ve gotta love nic salt based e-liquids and by now we know how useful they are for newbies to vaping.

The hit off this 18mg strength is wonderfully smooth with no harshness at all.

Flavour wise it hits the spot too with a perfectly balanced dryness with layers of earthy notes finished off on the exhale with a hint of sweetness – reminiscent of a good RY4 blend.

Definitely one for beginners!

Tobacco Menthol – Smoking Nic Salts – 18mg – 70PG 30VG

I Say:

Oh dear…another menthol lol.

However and for some reason I quite liked this one – I can be such a fickle fellow at times!

Not sure if the nic salt element calmed things down on the menthol front but I really quite enjoyed this one – especially given the heatwave we’re currently experiencing here in the UK.

A very refreshing vape reminiscent of Polo Mints rather than Extra Strong mints – very nice indeed especially with that warming tobacco flavour coming through on the exhale.

Final Review Verdict

OK I’ll say it again – it was a JAC Vapour device that finally got me off the cancer sticks so obviously I have a lot of time for the company.

I’ve also had the pleasure of reviewing plenty of their e-liquids too – the Bryn’s Special Sauce ejuice range in particular is a personal favourite.

Whilst many vapers quickly move away from tobacco flavours – many of us still enjoy a crisp smoky vape.

I have to say every single one of the tobacco flavours – the Originals and the Smoking nic salt are perfectly balanced and a joy to vape on.

The menthol whilst not my cup of tea are definitely cooling and should hit the spot for those looking for that ice cold hit.

The Cherry Tart is a strange addition to the range tasting more like it should be a 3mg with an 80VG 20PG mix for sub ohm vapers – but regular MTL vapers and beginners to vaping will enjoy the sweeter taste.

JAC set out to go back to its roots and has done it perfectly – The JAC Vapour Originals and Smoking nic salt flavours are another highly recommended range of e-liquids.

BTW I can only review based on my taste experience – hence the lower scores for the menthols so don’t let that put you off
